House Nursing Home consists of 3 distinct units, The House, Close Care unit and The Mews. For
further information about any of the units please follow the links by clicking
on the title headings.
- Main House
-
Accommodation
in the main house is on 4 floors and consists of single or double bedrooms
with shared toilets and bathrooms. A large lounge, seating in the reception
area and a large dining room are available. A passenger lift services all
floors of the home.
- Close Care
-
Accommodation
in the Close Care unit consists of 1 bungalow for 4 clients, currently all
female, and another building, with separate access, which accommodates 6
clients currently all male. The bungalow has bathroom and kitchen
facilities. The unit has single bedrooms and shared bathrooms. A communal
seating area, kitchen and dining room are available in the unit. Close Care
has designated staff that have an office situated in the building.
- The Mews
-
The
Mews consists of 10 units varying from apartments with one bedroom, a
kitchen and bathroom to larger units, accommodating up to 6 service users,
with a mixture of single and double bedrooms with shared bathrooms, lounges
and kitchens. Some of the units are bungalows and some are apartments on 2
floors. Outdoor walkways, courtyards and garden areas interconnect all
buildings. A staff team is designated to this area, with their office being
situated in one of the larger units. An activities area consisting of 2
lounges, advocates office, cashiers office and kitchen area are within
The Mews complex.
