HOW TO FIND US

 

    Heightside House is registered to provide nursing care to 78 people aged from 18 years upwards, who have a mental illness. The home consists of a mansion house that has been extended and separate units built in the last 10 years. All units are connected by outside paths. The home is situated in approximately 12 acres of grounds, including woodland, and is on a hill up a private driveway. The town of Rawtenstall is within 3 miles and a local bus route is available from the home. Heightside House consists of 3 distinct units, The House, Close Care unit and The Mews.

 

 

Philosophy of Care

    Here at Heightside House our aim is to provide a friendly, secure, relaxed and homely environment to assist our service users in their recovery. The service user always comes first, they should feel and will be treated as a valued member of the community

 

 

Company Profile

The registered provider of Heightside House is Mr. Michael Hartey. Mr. Hartey has a number of years experience of setting up, monitoring and providing excellent services across the Private Health Sector in Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Residential establishments.

Mr. Gerald Taylor is the Corporate Group Manager and has a wealth of experience across NHS Trusts, Local Health Boards and has a particular expertise in the field of Clinical governance.

The Strategic Manager is Mr. Graham Glascott. Mr. Glascott is a registered mental health nurse with experience of developing and managing acute inpatients, psychiatric intensive care and integrated community mental health teams.
